I hold a degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Aveiro in Portugal and I am currently pursuing postgraduate studies in Astronomy, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Machine Learning. I am a Scientific Researcher and writer, with published articles mainly in the field of Neurology, and I am now beginning to publish in Astronomy as well. I’m also a NASA Transform to Open Science certified scientist, NASA Citizen Scientist and Analogue Astronaut, participating in the ATX training at Kennedy Space Center and a member of the ALSDA Open Science Data Repository’s (OSDR) Analysis Working Group (AWG) Open Science at NASA Ames Research Center. As the CEO Founder and President of LIASTRA, International Astronomy League, and the LIASTRA Aerospace Innovation school, I lead educational projects such as Olympiads, rocket workshops, asteroid search campaigns, and analogue missions. As an IAAC ambassador, I aim to inspire and empower young students from diverse backgrounds to discover the universe through science.
